–
ONE LINER BRIEF
Create a digital extension to a six-part documentary series, Perfect Storms, to offer the viewer hands-on learning experience online
–
THE IDEA
Interactive website that allows viewers to recreate disasters from the documentary using the photorealistic CG, narration, and simple interactions.

Picture
A deadly firestorm in Tokyo, 1923
–
THE PLAN
The website features three chosen disasters in a task-based interactive documentary format, and the viewer must response (complete or skip) to each task to progress to the next chapter.
–
Tasks are designed to enhance the understanding of how these massive disasters occurred and and what are the implications on the culture and society at that time.
–
In addition to the interactive documentary, create a tool that the viewer can send out a virtual fire-tornado using Google Maps API.
